Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) which was launched last year has now been spotted running on Android Nougat on a GeekBench. A device with the model number SM-A710F which is also the model number of Galaxy A7 (2017) was found listed running on Android 7.0 which hints that Samsung is perhaps testing the latest software and may release the same for the device soon.
The specs listed on the GeekBench website is identical to the Galaxy A7 (2017) except the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The device was originally launched with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with Samsung’s TouchWiz skin and was later updated to Android Marshmallow.For the specs, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) got 624 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 3052 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) has 3GB RAM and 1.60 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
As far as specifications are concerned of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016), the device offers a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED Display with full high definition resolution. It has a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor, 128 GB micro SD card slot, 16 GB of internal memory, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. However, it has 3 GB RAM and a 3300 mAh battery with Fast charging technology.
