It is a well known fact that with the advent of Reliance Jio, the telecom domain is now witnessing a price war where all the other telecom operators are trying to keep intact or increase their user base with aggressive data and voice plans. And Vodafone is no different. The company has announced updated 4G data prices for its prepaid users and is offering four times more data.
The company is now offering 4GB of 4G data for Rs 250. Vodafone was previously giving 1GB of 4G data under the same plan. Similarly, users opting for Rs 999 plan will now get 22GB of 4G data, as opposed to 10GB of 4G data offered earlier.
Other than this, the company has updated 4G packs and customers will now get 1GB of 4G data for Rs 150, 4GB data for Rs 250, 6GB data for Rs 350, 9GB data for Rs 450, 13GB data for Rs 650 and 35GB data for Rs 1500 (35GB). These packs are available across all circles in which Vodafone offers 4G services, though prices may vary from circle to circle.
Recently, the operator also introduced new Vodafone Red postpaid plans under which users will get unlimited voice and data. For Rs 499, users will now get unlimited national and local calls to any network, coupled with 3GB of 3G/4G data or 1GB data if you happen to own a non-4G smartphone. Adding to this, one will also avail free incoming Roaming and 100 free SMS for a month.
For Rs 699, Vodafone Red postpaid users get exactly same calling, roaming and SMS benefits with 5GB of 3G/4G data or 2.4GB data for non-4G smartphone users. If you crave for more mobile data, you can opt in for Rs 899 pack which will bring all the calling, roaming and SMS benefits from above along with 8GB of 4G handset users and 5GB if you happen to own a non-4G smartphone. Note that, the outgoing calls in all of the above mentioned Vodafone Red plans will charged as standard.
Lastly, for Rs 1,299, one will get unlimited calls on both home and roaming network (both incoming and outgoing) paired with 100 SMS and 12GB 3G/4G data for 4G smartphone users and 8GB for non-4G smartphones.
