Polar M600 Android Wear smartwatch with Mediatek processor launched

The MT2601 SoC is powered by a dual-Core 1.2GHz processor based on ARM Cortex-A7.

Polar has announced the launch of its latest M600 Wear smartwatch. Polar M600 is powered by MediaTek’s MT2601 system-on-chip (SoC). It is equipped with features like integrated and optical heart rate technology. The Polar M600 is available in black and white colors and is priced at $329 in the US and £265 in the UK.

The MT2601 SoC is powered by a dual-Core 1.2GHz based on ARM Cortex-A7. The highly integrated SoC features GPS satellite positioning and wireless connectivity, including Wi-Fi and Low Energy. It features 1.3-inch display with 240 x 240 px resolution and with a Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage.
Ploar M600
The Ploar M600 has Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, Vibration motor, Microphone sensors. It is IPx8 certified, has 500 battery which claims to offer 2 days/8 hours of batery life with Android phone and 1 day/8 hours of battery life with iPhone. Its dimensions are 45x36x13 and it weighs 63grams.
