Panasonic has launched an affordable 3G smartphone, named as Panasonic T50, in India at Rs 4,990. It will be available across all online and retail partners. The smartphone comes in rose gold, champagne gold, and midnight blue colour options.
The Panasonic T50 smartphone runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system with company’s newly introduced SAIL user interface on top it. “The user interface offers various features like switching between multiple apps, organize apps by genre, control onscreen operations with gestures, enhanced visual layout and improved folder management for easy access,” the company said in a press release.
The T50 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x854p) display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, which is clubbed with 1GB of RAM and is backed up by a 1600 mAh battery. The Panasonic T50 offers 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 32GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone is armed with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Proximity sensor, ALS & Accelerometer. The handset measures 131.7 x 66.3 x 8.8 mm.
