Oppo F1s gold auctioned at Rs 5 lakh

Twice the money generated is to be donated to Yuvraj Singh's YouWeCan foundation.

Just this Monday Oppo announced auction of a special edition 18K gold version Oppo F1s Diwali edition. Today, Oppo revealed that the phone was sold out in just 18 minutes and it has generated Rs 5 lakh from the auction. A total of 40,000 people participated in the auction, claimed the company.

Oppo now will add an equal amount of money and donate the whole sum to Yuvraj Singh’s YouWeCan foundation.

Will Wang, Brand Director of Oppo Mobiles India, said, “Diwali is one of the most important festivals in the country and we hope everyone can be involved in it. We hope that this gift can spread happiness and bring light into the lives of our friends at the ‘YouWeCan’ foundation could delivery and share the light and happiness to all.”

Like the regular model, the gold F1s has a 5.5 inch display. The phone sports a huge 16 megapixel front camera which is why it is being marketed as a Selfie expert. The phone has a primary camera of 13 megapixel resolution that has f/2.2 aperture. The F1s also features a fingerprint scanner. Inside, there is a Mediatek MT6750 Octa-Core processor which is clocked at 1.5 GHz. There is 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM for multi-tasking. To power up the entire device is a 3075 battery which promises a full day usage.

The Oppo F1s Diwali customised limited edition will be on sale starting October 14th both online on Snapdeal and offline.
