Ball Slide Brace-X1 4G tablet was launched last year in the month of November, now company has come up with the latest version of the said tablet which runs on Android operating system which is now wrapped under ‘Remix OS’ from Jide Technology. The company also announced that future iBall Slide tablets will run on Remix OS offering PC-like experience. The latest version of Slide Brace-X1 4G is priced at Rs 17,499 and will soon be made available for purchase at select stores across India.
“Remix OS blends productivity with Android offering several key features such as Multitasking, working on Multiple Windows, Taskbar functionalities that let you do a lot more, Keyboard and Mouse optimization and Advanced file management,” explained in the press note.
The iBall Slide Brace-X1 4G new version carries the same specifications as of older version that features a 10.1 inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display with 149.45 ppi as pixel density. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core ARM Cortex A53 processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. The tablet comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera. For selfies, it comes with a 5-megapixel front camera. It has 16 GB on internal memory, which can be expanded to up to 64 GB through a micro SD card. It packs a 7,800 mAh battery.
Its connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot for internet sharing, Wi-Fi Direct, USB Tethering & Bluetooth Tethering, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, and micro-USB with OTG support. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Remix OS on top of it. The Slide Brace-X1 4G comes with voice-calling functionality, FM radio with FM recording, dual speakers and 3.5mm Audio Jack for Stereo Sound. It also comes equipped with the ability to support over 21 Indian languages (read/write) support.
