Bharti Airtel today announced the launch of a special 4G data pack that offers free data for 90 days. However, it isn’t totally free as such. While the pack is available for Rs 1,495 for existing users; new users can avail this offer via first recharge of Rs 1494.
Commenting on the newly launched offers, Ajai Puri, Director – Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said, “At Airtel, we are focused on providing great value to customers. Customers with 4G handsets generally consume large amounts of data and this proposition is specifically aimed at them. With this pack these customers can stay online round the clock without having to worry about exhausting their data limits or going for frequent recharges.”
The pack is currently available in Delhi and will be launched across other circles over the next few days.
Though it is not totally free like that of Jio’s offer, it is still quite attractive since you do not have to worry about data limits.
With Reliance Jio offering free voice and data services till December 15, Airtel and other operators are now devising new strategy to lure customers and keep their flock together.
Just days ago, Vodafone came out with Flex prepaid plans where in there is no pre-fixed quotas for voice, data or SMS.
State run BSNL has already announced that it will roll out cheaper plans than Jio in coming times.
And expect similar lucrative deals in the time to come, especially for the next few months.
