Meizu MX7 Coming with Snapdragon 660 SoC?

The smartphone may feature Meizu’s mBack home key below the device’s display.

If the latest report is to be believed, the Meizu’s next smartphone which goes by name Meizu MX7 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. Meizu MX7 has been found listed on a Chinese online retailer ‘JD.com’ with Snapdragon 660 SoC. The listing shows the smartphone covered by a red cloth and reveals the pricing of the smartphone which is Yuan 9,999, which is approximately Rs 93,494. However, we expect that this is pricing is incorrect as Meizu is unlikely to launch the smartphone at such a high price and the final pricing will be different altogether. The listing on the retailer website, however, hints that the Meizu MX7 launch is nearby.

The listing has not revealed any other set of the specifications for the Meizu MX7 smartphone except the chipset. As per rumours, Meizu MX7 will feature a metal body and will come with 4GB of RAM. It will reportedly boast a 12-megapixel rear camera placed on the back of this phone. Furthermore, the smartphone may feature Meizu’s mBack home key below the device’s display. It is rumoured to be running on Marshmallow or Android Nougat operating system with the company’s Flyme on top of the smartphone.
