A new LYF smartphone, named as LYF Wind 7i, has been found listed on LYF website for Rs 4,999. The LYF Wind 7i is quite similar to seems to earlier launched LYF Wind 7. The Wind 7i comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow instead of an older Android 5.1 Lollipop in Wind 7. Also, the Wind 7i has 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage whereas the Wind 7 has 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage.
LYF Wind 7i features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with AGC Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor, which is clubbed with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The phone offers 8GB of internal storage and even a 128GB micro SD card slot.
The Wind 7i has a 2250 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which claims to offer up-to 9 hours of talk-time and up-to 180 hours of standby time on 4G network. The handset sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The camera features include Auto Frame Rate, Red Eye Reduction, Continuous Auto Focus, Video HDR supported in code, Smile Detection, Gaze detection, Blink Detection, Panorama.
Besides, the Wind 7i offers Dual SIM, 4G/LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Calling, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, MicroUSB 2.0 as connectivity features. It has Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Motion & Gesture: Flip to Mute, Double Tap to Wake, Slide up to unlock, Slide down to open camera, Music Player Control gestures, Black Screen gestures for App unlocking. The handset measures 143.5mmx72mmx8.7mm and weighs 156 grams. The device comes in two colours- Black and Blue.
