Reliance Retail’s LYF has now officially launched the LYF Wind 2 smartphone for Rs 8.299. The Wind 2 smartphone comes in Gold color.
The LYF Wind 2 has a large 6-inch HD IPS display that offers high definition (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Further, the phone comes with 1 GHz MediaTek (MT6735M) processor, which is clubbed with Mali T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and a 32 GB micro SD card slot.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop based LYF Wind 2 offers 4G LTE connectivity and comes along with VoLTE support. It comes equipped with an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
A 2,850 mAh Lithium Ion battery is in the Wind 2 promising more than a day of usage. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, OTG, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The handset measures 157.5 x 81 x 8.5 mm and weighs 223 grams. The Wind 2 smartphone also houses dual stereo speaker at its bottom.

As TMI had reported earlier, like with all LYF phones, with Wind 2 too you will be eligible to get a free 4G SIM of Reliance Jio. Reliance Jio, which is planning to roll out its services very soon, is offering three months of unlimited 4G data and 4500 minutes of free voice call with the SIM.
