LYF has launched yet another smartphone in the Water series called Water 9. The Android smartphone has been listed on LYF website for Rs 8,699 in Gold colour.
The LYF Water 9 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD that has resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (high definition) with 401ppi as pixel density and Asahi Dragontrail Glass screen protection. A 1.3 GHz octa-core processor with MediaTek MT6753 chipset, Mali T-720 GPU and 2GB of RAM powers this phone. For storage, it has 16GB of internal storage and if you run out of storage, you can add a micro SD card of up-to 32GB capacity in its expandable storage slot. However, it runs on the older Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
The Water 9 gets its power from a 2800 mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery, which claims to deliver up-to 10 hours of talk-time and up-to 115 hours of standby time on 4G network. A 13-megapixel auto focus shooter is in its back with a LED flash while a 5-megapixel fixed focus selfie camera is in its front for selfies and video calls. Camera features include Gesture Shot, Touch Focus, Auto Focus, Face Detection, HDR, Panorama, Multi Angle View Mode, Motion Track Mode, Smile Shot.
Further, the LYF Water 9 offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE (Video & HD Voice Call), WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, a Micro USB Port 2.0, Gravity Sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, E-Compass, Fingerprint sensor and Hall sensor. The handset measures 153.5mm x 77.8mm x 7.9mm and weighs around 142 grams.
