LYF Flame 2, Wind 4 4G smartphones launched at Rs 4,799, Rs 6,799 respectively

Earlier this year, both Flame 2 and Wind 4 were spotted on LYF's website by 'The Mobile Indian'.

LYF has formally launched two affordable smartphones, the LYF Flame 2 and LYF Wind 4. The Flame 2 is priced at Rs 4,799, whereas Wind 4 cost Rs 6,799.

Earlier this year, Flame 2 and Wind 4 were spotted on LYF’s website by ‘The Mobile Indian’ . However, at that time the Flame 2 was spotted with the price tag of Rs 5,549 while the Wind 4 had a price tag of Rs 9,699.
LYF Flame 2
The LYF Flame 2 features a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core (MT6735M) processor, 1GB of RAM and MaliT720-Mp1 450MHz GPU. The smartphone runs on Lollipop 5.1 operating system and comes with 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable by up-to 32GB via a micro card.

The Flame 2 is backed by a 1500 Lithium-ion battery, which claims to offer up-to 7.5 hours of talk-time and up-to 190 hours of standby time on 4G network. The Flame 2 has a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with an flash and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. The camera features include Zoom 4X, Picture in picture, multi angle view mode, ASD (Auto-Scene Detection), Face Detection, Video Snapshot, Smile Shot and Gesture Capture.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G/LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Calling, 4.1, GPS, and a 2.0 port. It has Accelorometer and Gravity sensors. The handset measures 124.2 x 64.8 x 10.3mm and weighs 145 grams. The device comes in two colour variants – Black and White.

On the other hand, the LYF Wind 4 features 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm SnapDragon 210 (MSM8909) processor, which is clubbed with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. It has the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 operating system, 8GB internal storage and even a 128GB expandable storage facility.

The Wind 4 is backed up by a huge 4000 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which claims to offer up-to 28 hours of talktime and up-to 630 hours of standby time on 4G network. The handset sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. The camera features include 1/4″ colour CMOS image sensor, Face detection, Continuous shot, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), Touch to focus, and Panorama. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G/LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Calling, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0. include Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, and Proximity Sensor. The handset measures 144mmx72mmx8.9 mm and weighs 146 grams. The device comes in three colours- Black, Blue, and Brown.
