After recently launching LYF F1 Special Edition and LYF F1 Plus, LYF has silently launched another new smartphone LYF F8. The Android smartphone has been listed on LYF website for Rs 4,199 in Black and Blue colours.
The LYF F8 features a large 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display with AGC Glass screen protection. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) SoC, which is pared with Adreno 304 400MHz GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The phone also comes with a 128GB micro SD card slot.
The Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 based LYF F8 has a 2000 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which claims of deliver talktime of up-to 8 hours and standby time of up-to 160 hours on 4G network. On camera front, LYF F8 has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash on its back, and an 5-megapixel auto-focus front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The camera features Auto Frame Rate, Red Eye Reduction, Continuous Auto Focus, Video HDR supported in code, Smile Detection, Gaze detection, Blink Detection, Panorama.
Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, a micro USB port, Ambient Light, Accelerometer and Proximity. The handset measures 132.6mm x 66.2mm x 9.3 mm and weighs 138 grams.
