Lenovo has introduced its new gaming brand, Legion, to the Indian market. The brand has launched two new gaming laptops, Lenovo Y520 and Y 720 at a price tag of Rs 92,490 and Rs 1,49,990 respectively. Both the laptops will be available on Flipkart and company’s e-com site; pre-booking starts from May 19, 2017.
Lenovo is offering additional two-year onsite warranty worth Rs 4,990 at just Rs 999, and both of them will be available at no cost EMI options. Further, one can also avail a flat exchange offer of INR 20,000 on pre-booking on Flipkart.
The laptops come loaded with some attention-grabbing features including Lenovo Nerve Sense, which allow gamers to customise settings such as audio, active keys, cooling, and network priority. Lenovo Nerve Sense allows them to record highlights for replaying or uploading to streaming sites. Further, both the laptops support VR, are equipped with Dolby sound and optional backlit keyboards.
Starting with the Legion Y720, the gaming laptop features a 15.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is powered by the latest Intel Core i7- i7-7700HQ Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.80 GHz) along with NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1060 graphics card. The laptop is backed by up to 16GB RAM (2x8GB DDR4 2400) and 2TB of internal storage. On the connectivity front, it offers three USB 3.0 ports, Wi-Fi 2×2 AC, Bluetooth 4.1.
The device runs on latest Windows 10 and comes with loaded with HD 720P webcam. It measures 38.0 cm x 27.7 cm x 2.9 cm and weighs 2.95 Kg and offers up to 5 hours of backup.
Coming to Y520, the laptop comes loaded with 15.6-inch Full HD display, is powered by the same processor as found in Y720, is backed by 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The laptop has NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1050 Ti graphics card and supports connectivity options including Wi-Fi 2×2 AC, Bluetooth 4.1, two USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, USB Type-C port and 4-in-1 card reader (SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC). The device runs on latest Windows 10 and comes with loaded with HD 720P webcam. It measures 38.0 cm x 26.5 cm x 2.58 cm and weighs 2.4 Kg and offers up to 5 hours of backup.
Lastly, as part of the Legion gaming kit, gamers get a Y gaming armoured backpack. The Y gaming optical mouse and Y gaming stereo headset are also available at an additional cost.
