LeEco is all set to enter the US market next month. Reportedly, the company has sent invites to media organisations for an event to be held in San Francisco, California on October 19. LeEco is expected to introduce its wide range of products, which includes smartphones, smart televisions, VR headset, LeEco Smart Bike (Le Syvrac) etc.
As part of US market ramp up, LeEco recently acquired US based TV maker, Vizio. There were also reports that company has tie up with Aston Martin to challenge Tesla Motors, a US Car maker. Moreover, in April this year LeEco launched the Smart Bike, called Le Syvrac and revealed its plans to bring its smart bike to the US later this year.
Earlier this month, LeEco released its latest smartphone LeEco Le Pro 3 in China, which is also expected to be one of the device LeEco will introduce in the US market next month.
As far as specifications are concerned, LeEco Le Pro 3 has a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass display. It is equipped with 2.35 GHz quad core Snapdragon 821 Processor and Adreno 530 GPU. The LE Pro 3 features unibody metal design and comes with fingerprint sensor that is located at its back panel. It comes in two variants – the 4GB variant comes with 32GB internal storage, while the 6GB variant comes with 64GB internal storage. The device lacks the expandable storage option.
The smartphone comes with a 16 megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, Sony IMX298 sensor, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, it comes with an 8 megapixel front camera with 1.4um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, 76.5-degree wide-angle lens. The LeEco Le Pro 3 comes with 32 GB/64 GB in-built storage. This Android 6.0 Marshmallow based smartphone has EUI 5.8 on top and a 4070 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology which is said to offer 3 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charging using 24W fast charger. For connectivity the LeEco Le Pro 3 dual SIM offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi, GPS/AGPS + GLONASS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type C. The phone measures 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5 mm and weighs around 175 grams.
