Lava A68, which was spotted earlier, has been launched formally at Rs 4,599.
The 3G smartphone comes with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a 4.5 inch full wide video graphics array (480×800 pixels resolution) display. The handset is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM. It is also coupled with 8 GB ROM (expandable up to 32GB).
Additionally, Lava A68 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera, both with LED flash light. The smartphone packs a 1750 mAh Li-ion battery. On the connectivity front, the dual SIM handset offers 3G, WiFi, USB, Bluetooth and GPS options.
Lava A68 has Smart Screen Gestures and has Video PIP feature that allows users to open any video and then play it in the background while doing other tasks like Messaging and browsing internet. Other smart features include LED flash when receiving a call (allowing users to not miss a call even on silent mode). Smart Music helps in listening to music, without unlocking the phone, just through a finger swipe. Lava A68 will be available in gold, silver and Black colors across national retail stores and multi-brand outlets with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
