Karbonn today launched Aura 9 smartphone with a huge 4000 mAh battery for Rs 6,390.
Aura 9 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Processor and 1 GB RAM. It also offers decent 8 GB internal storage as well as 32 GB expandable storage slot. The smartphone offers an 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera. The Karbonn Aura 9 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and supports of 21 Indian languages.
Besides, this dual SIM smartphone has 3G, FM radio, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro USB port. It has a dimension of 144×71.8×9.6mm and weighs 160 grams.
Currently, there are plenty of smartphones with such huge batteries. Just earlier this month we made a list of smartphones with 3000 mAh or bigger battery. Before that we had talked about smartphones available in India with 4000 mAh or bigger battery.
Currently in India, Gionee Marathon M3 and Celkon Millennia Q5K Power offer the biggest battery – a 5000 mAh unit. Earlier in June this year, Oukitel, a Chinese smartphone maker, has unveiled a prototype smartphone with an insane 10,000 mAh battery.
