Intex has launched an affordable smartphone, which is named as Intex Aqua Lions 3G. The smartphone is priced at Rs 4,990. The Aqua Lions 3G smartphone was launched by Suresh Raina, Captain, Gujarat Lions IPL cricket team, along with other team members. The smartphone is available for purchase through Amazon India and comes in White, Grey and Champagne colour options.
The Aqua Lions 3G smartphone features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display. It is fueled by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and up-to 32GB of expandable storage via micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system.
The Aqua Lions 3G has a 3500mAh battery, which the company claims will deliver talk-time of 6-8 hours and Standby time of up to 20 days. Moreover, the it comes with battery saver mode that enhances battery life by up to 50%.
On the camera front, the Aqua Lions 3G sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash and an 2-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Further, the device offers Dual SIM, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, FM Radio, GPS, G-sensor, and a microUSB port. The handset measures 145 x 71.5x 9.5 mm and weighs around 172 grams with battery. The Aqua Lions 3G also comes with preloaded apps such as Gujarat Lions Official App for live updates on IPL and Matrabhasha service that will enable communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi, Intex Service, Follo, OPERA MINI, Clean Master, NewsHunt, I-store, Newshunt, Freecharge, Saavn, and hike messenger etc.
