Huawei Honor 6X first flash sale today at 2PM

Registrations are now open for next flash sale, which is scheduled for February 9th.

The first ever flash sale of Huawei Honor 6X smartphone is to be held exclusively on Amazon India today at 2PM. The Honor 6X smartphone was launched in India last week at Rs 12,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs 15,999 for 4GB RAM variant. Only registered buyers can participate in the today’s flash sale. Registrations for today’s flash sale is now closed. However, registrations are now open for next flash sale, which is scheduled to be held on Febuary 9th, 2PM. The smartphone is available in silver, grey and gold colour options.

The main highlight of the device is the dual-camera setup at the back. The device features a combination of a 12-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The set up comes with phase detection (PDAF), LED flash etc. At the front, there is an 8-megapxel sensor for selfies. The camera lets you dig into and play with shallow depth of field and one can change the focus of an image post clicking it.

As far as other specifications are concerned, Honor 6X runs on 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI v4.1 on top. Other than that, it comes with a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass protection. On the inside, the device is powered by a Kirin 655 octa-core (4 cores at 2.1GHz + 4 cores at 1.7GHz) chipset with Mali-T830MP2 GPU paired with 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. In both the cases, the internal storage is expandable via microSD card. There is 3340 mAh battery inside and the smartphone also offers with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, with A-GPS, Compass etc.

At CES 2017, Huawei also confirmed that Honor 6X will soon get Android Nougat update, probably in Q2 2017. The update will also bring in the new EMUI 5.0 which is big overhaul from the current EMUI 4.1.
