Earlier this month, Famous and one of the most reliable tipster, LlabTooFer revealed on his tweeter account that HTC 10 (EU) will receive Android Nougat update by end of November or Early December. However, today’s tweet by Mo Versi doesn’t reveal the region or variant for which the Nougat update will be rolled out. Assuming that it is a global rollout, the update will take few weeks till it reaches each and every user. Moreover, there has been no information about the update for carrier-specific variants. Given it’s a global roll out, we expect the update to come to Indian variant soon as it will not take much time for HTC to roll out the update for unlocked variants of different regions.

Yesterday, HTC India unveiled two new smartphones – HTC Desire 10 Pro and HTC 10 Evo. While the Desire 10 Pro is a mid-range device, the 10 Evo is tipped to be an enhanced variant of HTC 10. HTC Desire 10 Pro will be available for sale starting December 15 for Rs 26,490 while the company failed to reveal any information about the HTC 10 Evo but we expect it to be priced on the higher side. Interestingly, HTC 10 Evo comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Based on the hands-on experience, Android Nougat with HTC Sense was pretty smooth as well as snappy. HTC seem to have done a good job on the software front. Unless your device is carrier locked, HTC 10 won’t have any two apps for the same function allowing more space for third party installations.
