As anticipated, Huawei sub-brand, Honor has finally announced the launch of its two new smartphones in China, dubbed as Honor V9 and Honor 8 Youth Edition aka Honor 8 Lite.
Honor V9 comes in three variants- Standard variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at 2599 yuan, the higher variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage cost 2999 yuan and for Premium variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage one has to pay 3499 yuan. The prebooking starts from today and sale will commence on February 28.
Honor 8 Youth Edition aka Honor 8 Lite also comes in three variants- Standard variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage is priced at 1099 yuan, the higher variant with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage cost 1399 yuan and for Premium enjoy variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage one has to pay 1599 yuan. The prebooking of Honor 8 Youth Edition also starts from today and sale will commence on February 28.
Honor V9 feature a 5.7-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixel and is powered by a 2.4GHz Kirin 960 octa-core processor, along with Mali M71 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4GB/6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB of internal storage.The Honor V9 also have an option to expand the storage up-to128GB via microSD card. On the camera front, the smartphone offers a dual-camera module at the rear panel, which comes with a combination of 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats. The fingerprint sensor also sits at the back. The device gets its juices from a 4000mAh battery and run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with EMUI 5.0 on top of it. The smartphone measures 157 × 77.5 × 6.97mm and weighs 184 grams. The smartphone comes in Red, Gold, Blue, and Black colour options.
As far as specifications of Honor 8 Youth Edition aka Honor 8 Lite is concerned, it has a 12-layer mirror coating and features a 5.2-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1920×1280 pixels. It is fueled by an octa-core Kirin 655 processor, along with 3GB/4GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. There is also a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on its back panel. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with EMUI 5.0 on top of it and is backed up by a 300mAh non-removable battery. On the camera front, it has a 12-megapixel camera with F2.2 aperture, LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-camera with a 77-degree angle of view. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS/A-GPS. The handset measures 147.2 x 72.94 x 7.6 mm and weighs 147 grams. The smartphone comes in four colour options Midnight Black, Streamer Gold, Sea Blue and Pearl White.
