Ever been in that dreadful situation when nature calls and you cannot find a restroom? Well, Good News. After successfully working with the Ministry of Urban Development, Google Maps will now show you all the public toilets near you if you are in Delhi NCR and Madhya Pradesh. Not only this, Google is also adding location, address and opening hours of over four thousand communal and public restrooms to Google Maps. 
The feature will be available on both App (Android and iOS) and desktop versions showing content in both English and Hindi. Moreover, under Delhi NCR circle include Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and for Madhya Pradesh, the new feature will be available for users living in Bhopal and Indore.
This measure, as claimed by Google in the press release, is to promote government’s Swachh Bharat campaign. Sanitation is an important aspect of the Swachh Bharat campaign and making information about the existing sanitation facilities is a great way to start in our opinion.
