Gionee P7 with Android Marshmallow set to launch in India soon

Gionee P7 is expected to feature 5-inch HD display.

After launching Gionee P7 Max in India last month, Gionee is now all set to launch Gionee P7 smartphone in the coming days. The smartphone is confirmed to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Amigo 3.2 UI on top of it.

Officially this is the only information available right now but we do have a couple of leaked specification available with us. Gionee P7 is expected to have a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, Dual SIM slot, with VoLTE, and a 2300mAh battery.

As far as specifications of recently launched Gionee P7 Max is concerned, it comes with a 5.5 inch HD (1280 X 720 pixels) IPS display, a 2.2 GHz octa-core MT6595 and PowerVR G6200 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Amigo 3.2 UI on top of it. The smartphone comes in dual SIM version and is 4G enabled. It also offers VoLTE support, so you can use a Jio SIM in it as well.

The P7 Max has a 13-megapixel rear camera which comes along with a flash and for selfies, there is a 5-megapixel front camera in the phone. Gionee P7 Max has 32 GB of internal storage and 128GB expandable memory slot for a micro SD card. Besides, the P7 Max offers a 3,100 mAh battery which, the company claims, offers 290 hours of standby time. WiFi, GPS/AGPS, micro USB and are there in the smartphone too. The device measures 154 x 76.8 x 8.8mm and weighs 182 grams.

P7 Max has several inbuilt features like Auto call record, Mobile Anti-theft, compass, Smart gesture (Pause alarm, Black screen gesture, smart vibration reminder, smart bright screen, Double click wakeup) Tethering & Hotspot, Theme park, Mood Wallpaper, Gstore, Chameleon, Eco mode, Ami Locker, Child mode, Abroad service, Xender,OTG support making it ideal mid-segment phone.
