Gionee had announced Marathon M5 Plus in December last year alongwith Marathon M5 Enjoy. Now Gionee has reportedly launched Marathon M5 Plus in India. As per PhoneRadar, Gionee Marathon M5 Plus has been launched in India for Rs 26,999. Note that the Gionee Marathon M5 Plus was announced for China at Yuan 2499 or Rs 25,567 approximately. The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus is the predecessor of Marathon M5 which was launched in India for Rs 17,999.
The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus has a huge 6 inch screen and a fingerprint sensor as well. Its AMOLED Display has full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. Besides, the smartphone has 3 GB RAM, Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Gionee’s Amigo 3.0 UI on top, MediaTek MT6753 octa-core 64-bit Processor and 64 GB of internal storage. With its huge 5020 mAh battery, the M5 Plus claims to offer 34.5 days and 829 hours of maximum standby time.
The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus also comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. The dual SIM smartphone has USB Type C charging port and is compatible with 4G networks as well.
