Gionee M6 Lite launched with 5-inch display, 3GB RAM and 4000mAh battery

Gionee M6 Lite runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Amigo 3.2 UI on top of it.

Gionee had launched Gionee M6 and M6 Plus in China in June earlier this year. Now Gionee has launched a new variant of M6 which is named as Gionee M6 Lite. The smartphone has been launched in Kenya in partnership with Kilimall, a leading online retailer.

The Gionee M6 Lite is priced Ksh20,000 (approximately Rs 13,352) but it will be sold exclusively on Kilimall at a discounted price of Ksh13,999 (approximately Rs 9,347) from November 24. It comes in Mocha Gold colour option.

The Gionee M6 Lite comes with a 5 inch full (1080 X 1920 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass protection. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz quad core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. It has 3GB RAM and it runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Amigo 3.2 on top of it.

The Gionee M6 Lite has a 13 megapixel rear camera which comes along with flash, f/2.0 lens, phase detection (PDAF), Panorama, Exmor-RS CMOS sensor. For selfies, there is a 5 megapixel front camera in the phone. The Gionee M6 Lite has 32 GB of internal storage and 256GB expandable memory slot for a micro SD card. Besides, the M6 Lite offers a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging technology. For connectivity, the smartphone features LTE, dual sim, WiFi, GPS/AGPS, and Bluetooth. The device measures 152.3 x 75.3 x 8.2mm and weighs 180 grams.

The earlier launched Gionee M6 and M6 Plus comes in Gold & Latte Gold colours. The 64 GB and 128 GB models of M6 are priced at 2699 RMB (Rs 27,200 approximately) and 2899 RMB (Rs 29,211 approximately) respectively while the 64 GB and 128 models of M6 Plus are priced at 2999 RMB (Rs 30,218 approximately) and 3199 RMB (Rs (Rs 32,233 approximately) respectively.
