Unlike other countries where iPhone is launched at 12 AM midnight, the launch in India will happen 7 PM sharp today.
Apple is all set to launch iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus today at 7 PM. With the pre-orders already available, Flipkart claims that it has received thousands of pre-orders already and is expected to have more in coming days. However, the excitement has crossed the limit with recent reports suggesting that Flipkart's CEO Binny Bansal will personally deliver the first batch of iPhone 7 to select buyer in Bangalore today.
In a statement, the e-commerce website said - "Flipkart CEO Binny Bansal will be one among the delivery executives who will be delivering the iPhone 7 today starting at 7 PM in Bangalore. Who will be first lucky customer who will get the first phone today?"
"Delivery executives are fanning out across key cities in India to surprise several lucky customers at the exact time when the clock strikes seven," read the statement further.
Apple's iPhone 7 will start at Rs 60,000 for 32GB, Rs 70,000 for 128GB and Rs 80,000 for 256GB. On the other hand, iPhone 7 Plus will sell at Rs 72,000 for 32GB, Rs 82,000 for 128GB and Rs 92,000 for 256GB. Also, a lot of websites such as Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ etc. are offering various cash back and launch offers which are not to be missed.
Unlike other countries where iPhone is launched at 12 AM midnight, the launch in India will happen 7 PM sharp today which is strange but it is how it is.
