Fitbit has launched its Fitbit Blaze fitness watch in India at Rs 19,999. The company had showcased the Fitbit Blaze smartwatch at CES 2016 earlier this year. The Fitbit Blaze is exclusively available from Amazon India in black/silver, blue/silver, and plum/silver colours. The fitness watch comes in two sizes- Small (5.4″-6.2″) and Large (6.2″-7.6″).
The Fitbit Blaze smartwatch comes with various enhanced fitness features like FitStar that delivers guided instructions and animated images to three of the most popular personal trainer workouts from FitStar, Connected GPS to deliver real-time exercise stats like distance, pace and minute-mile split times when connected to a smartphone, PurePulse heart rate tracking to track calories burned during each workout and also provides all-day insights into overall health, Multi-sport mode that lets you record specific activities like biking, cardio, running, weights, yoga and even better heart rate tracking, and SmartTrack that automatically recognizes and records continuous movement activities like biking, hiking and running, with general categories for aerobic workout.
The smartwatch also shows notifications, allows accepting and rejecting calls, reading text messages, and offers on-screen controls for playlists and volume when playing music from your connected smartphone and calendar alerts. The device also tracks your sleep pattern such as, how long and well you sleep, plus set a silent alarm that gently vibrates to wake you up.
On the battery front, company is claiming up-to full five days and nights of battery life when fully charged. The device is compatible with more than 200 Android, iOS, and Windows mobile devices. The device measures 21.9 x 4.2 x 1.1 cm and weighs 41 grams.
