Amazon Great India Sale, which is scheduled for 11th – 14th May will sell Coolpad Note 5 and Note 5 Lite at discounted price of Rs 9,999 and Rs 6,999 against their original price of Rs 10,999 and Rs 8,199 respectively. While Coolpad Note was launched last year in September, the Note 5 Lite was launched recently in March 2017.
To brief you about both the devices, Coolpad Note 5 has a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch display that comes with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels (full HD). It has the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU GPU, 4GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The phone can hold a micro SD card of up to 64GB. The Note 5 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a customised user interface – Cool UI 8.0. Most importantly, it has a huge 4010 mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with dual-system (dual space feature) feature, same as of older Coolpad Max, which allows its users to have two accounts on WhatsApp, Facebook, Line, BBM, and other social media applications on a single smartphone with a BiLogin feature and the phone has the multi-screen feature as well.
There is a 13-megapixel auto-focus camera with a CMOS Sensor and f2/2 Aperture accompanied by dual-toned LED flash lights. Besides, we get an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f2/2 aperture is in its front. The phone comes with a front LED flash light as well to help users take selfies in low light conditions. The handset comes with hybrid dual SIM and support for 4G network with VoLTE. Besides, the smartphone offers WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, Geomagnetic Sensor Proximity Sensor, and Light Sensor.
Meanwhile, the younger sibling i.e. the Coolpad Note 5 Lite smartphone is basically a toned down version of the Coolpad Note 5 and sports a metal unibody. The device features a 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels coupled with 2.5D curved glass. The device is powered by 64 bit 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP processor, along with Mali 720 GPU. It is backed by a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera coupled with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera alone with front flash. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s Cool UI 8.0 running on top of it. The device is juiced up by a 2500mAh battery which the company claims give a Standby time of 200 hours. On the connectivity front, the device support 4G LTE, Wi-FI, Bluetooth v4.0, OTG and dual SIM. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor which can be used to unlock, make receive calls, open applications and take pictures.
