Here are the key features and differences between these two devices to help you take your pick.

Coolpad has today launched Note 5 Lite in India which comes with a price tag of Rs 8,199. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon India from March 21st. Here we compare the Note 5 Lite with a popular smartphone Lenovo K6 Power 3GB which is available for Rs 9,999 on Flipkart. There is also a 4GB RAM variant of K6 Power which is available for Rs 10,999.
Here we have compared the two phones on the basis of their features and specification only, and after reading this we are pretty sure you can make an informed decision.
Design & Display
Coolpad Note 5 Lite boasts a metal unibody design and a 5-inch display with a screen of 1280 x 720 pixels. It comes with scratch resistant, 2.5D curved glass on top of its display. While on the other hand, Lenovo K6 Power features a 5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display. However, the K6 Power also features the same metal unibody design. Lenovo K6 Power will be abetter option in our opinion since it features a full HD display with a better screen resolution. Both thesmartphones, however, features the same screen size of 5inches.
The fingerprint sensor is at the back of the Coolpad Note 5 Lite can also double up as a capture button inside the camera app, receive and cancel calls, open applications and of course unlock your device. The K6 Power also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on its back panel. The company claims that the fingerprint sensor can unlock the phone in just 0.3 seconds and can also be used to lock individual apps.
Lenovo K6 Power measures 141.9 x 70.3 x 9.3 mm and weighs 145gramswhile Coolpad Note 5 Lite measures 145.3 x 72.3 x 8.7mm and weighs 148grams. So, Note 5 Lite is a bit big in size and bulkier also than K6 Power.
Processor & Memory
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite is powered by 64 bit 1.0 GHz MediaTek MT6735 quad-core along with Mali 450 GPU. It is backed by a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via card slot. The Lenovo K6 Power is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, along with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable memoryup-to128GB via microSD card.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite vs Lenovo K6 Power
Well, for Note 5 Lite, though 64GB is a little less for expansion when compared to other devices priced around Rs 8,000, however, not a lot of people in India buy a 128GB microSD card. Nevertheless, Cool is not the lightest of skins and will certainly eat up quite a bit of RAM.
Needless to say, On paper, Lenovo K6 Power is a clear winner here because of its higher RAM configuration, higher and off course a better processor with a higher clock speed.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s Cool UI 8.0 running on top of it while Lenovo K6 Power runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The Lenovo’s Pure UI now support dual apps feature as well as long screenshots.
Camera
On the camera front, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite sports a 13-megapixel rear camera coupled with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the cameras are equipped with LEDflashlightallowing it to capture good selfies in low light condition. The K6 Power flaunts a 13-megapixel primary camera with Flash, Sony IMX258 sensor and PDAF. On its front, it has also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
Now although Coolpad Note 5 Lite is on par in the game, but we would recommend you to wait for our detailed camera testing before making any sort of judgment about the same.
Spec wise, the phones are on the same footing in the camera department but Coolpad Note 5 Lite has a slight over the Lenovo handset owing to its LEDflashlightsfor both the rear and front camera. If you are not into smartphone photography and don’t care to take many photos from your primary smartphone, both these devices will do the job.
Battery and Connectivity
Coolpad Note 5 Lite is juiced up by anon-removable2500mAh battery which the company claims give a of 200 hours. We expect a 2500 cell should last you a full day with a 5-inch 720p display.
On the other hand, Lenovo K6 Power gets its juices from powerful 4000mAh battery, which claims to offer 649 hours of standby time. Also, its battery comes with an ultimate power saver mode which helps the battery to last 3 times longer. The K6 Power is obviously a winner in this round with a higher battery capacity offering a better standby time.
On the connectivity front, the device sports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4.0, GPS and Dual-SIM functionality. The device supports 2G, and LTE network although we are not sure about VoLTE at the moment. For the sensors, we get an accelerometer, proximity sensor, light sensor and a fingerprint sensor which is mentioned above in Display. The K6 Power smartphone offers Dual SIM, VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, a microUSB port OTG with reverse charging option, and Dolby Atmos audio.
Wrapping up
As compared to Coolpad Note 5 Lite, the Lenovo K6 Power certainly looks good with its better processor, bigger battery, higher RAM, and a better display with higher screen resolution. The Lenovo K6 Power may be Rs 1,800 costlier than Coolpad Note 5 Lite but it beats the Coolpad Note 5 Lite hands down on several counts and thus worth the extra bucks.
