A new Xiaomi smartphone has been spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA.

Xiaomi had recently launched Mi Note 2 last month alongwith Xioami Mi Mix. Seems now Xiaomi is working on a new version of Mi Note 2 with a flat screen. A new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number 2015213 has been spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA with a different design.

The listing has revealed the design and specifications of the new Xiaomi phone. The specs on TENAA are similar to the specs of Mi Note 2 except that it features flat glass on the front and rear instead of the curved glass in the earlier Mi Note 2. Also, the new version is spotted on TENAA with 6GB RAM. So, it is expected to come only in one variant instead of RAM which was available in earlier Mi Note 2.

As per the TENAA listing, the new Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a 5.7 inch full display with 1080 x 1920 resolution, a 2.35 GHz Snapdragon 821 processor and 6GB RAM. It offers 128GB of non-expandable internal storage, a 23 megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and phase detection autofocus, a 8 megapixel front camera and a 4070 battery. The Xioami phone will also come with fingerprint sensor, which is located on the home button below the display which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

The phone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system based MIUI 8 out of the box and the images reveal that it has Black, Silver Blue, Pink and Gold colour versions. Connectivity options of the device include 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS. The phone is 156.2 mm tall, 77.3 mm wide and 7.6 mm thin and it weighs 160 grams, according to the TENAA listing.
