Celkon Ultra Q500 launched for Rs 9,999; comes with Android 4.4, quad core chip

Celkon mobiles has launched Ultra Q500 at Rs 9,999 with Android 4.4 KitKat, sold exclusively through Snapdeal website.

Celkon Mobiles has introduced another KitKat operating system running smartphone, Ultra Q500 Dual SIM. The new Celkon Ultra Q500 will be available exclusively from Snapdeal website at Rs 9,999. As part of introductory offer, Airtel is also offering 1 GB data for two months with the phone. Hungama also offers free unlimited music and videos download for a month – data charges apply.

Celkon’s new configuration supporting Ultra Q500 features a 5-inch IPS display with 720p (HD) resolution and One Glass Solution technology. Celkon has housed a quad-core 1.2 Ghz ARM Cortex-A7 based mobile paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB on-board storage. Its memory card slot allows adding up to a 32 GB microSD card.
Celkon Ultra Q500
The Ultra Q500 features an 8 megapixel camera with Auto-focus and LED flash at the back for imaging. In the front is a 2 megapixel camera for video calls and self portraits. The smartphone supports 3G network enabled SIM card in one of the slots. Other features include Wi-Fi, and GPS.

Celkon has packed 2500 battery inside the Ultra Q500 and it does offer competitive hardware for the price range.
