Bose launches range of mobile sound accessories for India

Offering best in class sound the new accessories form Bose offer listening pleasure for mobile users.

Lifestyle audio solution provider, Bose has introduced three new products for the mobile phone users in India. The products unveiled include the Bose SE2W headphone, Bose Quiet Comfort 20 Noise cancelling earplugs and Bose Soundlink Mini Bluetooth speaker.

SoundLink Mini is a portable speaker system that connects wirelessly to any Bluetooth enabled mobile phone or tablet and allows the user to play out loud and clear music anywhere. It is small enough to be carried inside a backpack or handbag easily.

The SoundLink’s audio is complemented with Bose’s digital signal processing algorithms that claims to reproduce instrument definition and detail at any volume.

The SoundLink speaker system is built to withstand the rigors of daily use and has been tested for continuous performance and is made to resist extreme conditions and elements including salt-fog, sand, wind, and moisture.

The SoundLink mini measures just 5 cm x 18 cm and has a 5.8 cm depth which makes it 30 per cent of the size and 50 per cent of the weight of the original SoundLink Mobile speaker. With its anodized aluminum housing, it resists scratches and fingerprints, and is strong and durable enough for the rigors of everyday use. The SoundLink Mini is priced at Rs 16,200 and a range of carry and protective cases have been made available for the device as well.

The Bose QuietComfort 20 headphones are the first in ear noise cancelling headphones from the company. The QC 20 earplugs have been designed to deliver super noise cancellation while keeping the audio performance and comfort quotient high. The Earplugs in the Bose QC 20 utilises two tiny, microphones placed in each ear bud for sensing the ambient, and the other one to measures the sound reproduced. The measurements are then sent to a digital electronic chip located in the control module that calculates an equal and opposite noise cancellation signal within a millisecond for best in class noise canceling for a comfortable and noise free music listening experience with the help of an interacted battery powered module offering noise cancellation for up to 16 hours. And the users can use it even after the battery runs out like an ordinary headphone.

The Bose QuietComfort 20 make use of the new StayHear+ ear tips that ensures an effective seal to passively block noise, and a comfortable fit for easy wearing through the day. With the QC 20 users can choose to block out the noises or can also allow the outside noises to be sent through with the new aware mode. It keeps the music playing, but also allows important sounds to be heard like an announcement at the train or airport, or any such scenario. The Bose QC 20 is priced at Rs 22,388 is and will be available separately for Apple iPhone with the QC 20i version featuring media control keys and the QC 20 for other Smartphone devices.

The Bose AE2w Bluetooth is company’s first stereo Bluetooth wireless headphones solution. The AE2w headphone allows users to enjoy their favorite music or videos from an iPad or any other mobile Bluetooth devices without wires. The Bose AE2w combines the comfort of the Bose AE2 headphone along with the ease and utility of a Bluetooth headset.

The AE2w headphones make use of the Bose TriPort technology to create natural sound when listening to music or watching video. The AE2w Bluetooth headphones feature a detachable, battery-powered Bluetooth module on the left ear cup that can be replaced with the included cable in case the Bluetooth module runs out of power or if users feel the need to use the headphones like a normal headphone.

The AE2w headphones are optimised for iPad. While using an based device, the battery meter will display the battery level of the headphones on the source device itself without the need of any additional application.

The Bluetooth module allows the AE2w to be connected to two sources simultaneously so users can enjoy videos or music on an iPad while can easily take calls on their smartphone as well. The AE2w headphone is priced at Rs 19,013 and comes in black color option only.

While the Bose AE2w has been made available for sale the Bose SoundLink mini will start retailing in India from first week of August and the Bose Quite Comfort will be made available starting September this year. All products will be made available through Bose retail store present in major cities in India.
