US-based mobile manufacturer, BLU, which entered the Indian market last year with two Windows smartphones, has now announced a new Android based smartphone named as BLU Vivo 5 Mini. The BLU Vivo 5 Mini is priced at £49.99 (approximately Rs 4,194) and will be available in grey colour for purchase on Amazon.com in the UK from 10th January, 2017. There has been no information about the device launching in India and we are highly spectacle about the same.
Listing out the specifications, the Blu Vivo 5 Mini features 4- inch display with a Resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-Core MediaTek 6580 processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The smartphone comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB via micro SD card. In the camera department, the Vivo 5 Mini sports an 5-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED flash. At the front, it has a 2-megapixel selfie camera.The battery capacity, however, is unclear as its not revealed by the company as yet. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi for connectivity and measures at 6.5 x 1.1 x 10.2 cm and weighs 499 grams.
Earlier this year, Blu had launched Blu Vivo 5 at the CES in Las Vegas, USA. For the specifications, Blu Vivo 5 features a 5.5 inch HD (1280 × 720) Super AMOLED display. Underneath the hood, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core Mediatek 6753 processor with MALI-T720 GPU and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is upgradeable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system.
Moving on to the camera, Vivo 5 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash paired with a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 32 GB in-built storage which can be further expanded through a micro SD card. On the connectivity front, the Vivo 5 comes with 4G connectivity with WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), A-GPS, Type C-USB, and bluetooth. For the juice, it has a 3,150 mAh removable battery and measures at 151.9 x 74.6 x 6.9 mm.
