Alleged leaked Meizu Pro 7 is Meizu X2 instead

Just yesterday, we reported that a Meizu smartphone which was alleged to be Meizu Pro 7 surfaced online revealing dual rear camera setup for the device. Now as per a report of Android Pure, the upcoming dual camera smartphone from Meizu was not Meizu Pro 7, rather the leaked smartphone was Meizu X2 instead.

Yesterday’s image was a quite blurred from which the name of the device was hard to figure out. Now, a full clear image of the smartphone has leaked today without any blurriness which clearly reveals the name of the device as Meizu X2. The image has also revealed some specifications and the pricing for the Meizu X2.

As per the leaked image, Meizu X2 features a 2.5D curved display. It is powered by Mediatek Helio X25. There is a dual camera set up at the back of the device with a dual tone flash. However, the camera resolution has not revelled via this leaked image. It will be backed up by a 3350mAh battery with technology with 18W charger. The physical home button on the front of the device shows a fingerprint scanner. The left and right bezels on the display of the Meizu X2 are almost negligible.

Besides this, the leaked image also reveals the purported variants of the phone. The image shows that the phone will come in three variants – 3GB of with 32GB of internal storage which is priced at 1,749 Yuan (approximately Rs 16,281), 4GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage which is priced at 1,899 Yuan (approximately Rs 17,676) while 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage will cost you 1,999 Yuan which is approximately Rs 18,590.

The Meizu X2 might be a successor of Meizu X which was launched in November last year in China. The Meizu X offers a 5.5-inch display with full (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 and Mali T880 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with FlyMe 6.0 on the top of it and is backed up by a 3,200 mAh battery with fast charging technology. There is also fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button on the front.

The Meizu X flaunts a 12-megapixel shooter on the back with dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), video recording, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the connectivity front, the device offers Dual SIM, LTE with VoLTE, 4.1, GPS, and a Type C. The handset measures 153.8 x 76 x 7.4 mm and weighs 165 grams.
