Alcatel has announced the launch of its new 4G smartphone, the Pop Star, in India at Rs 6,999. Alcatel Pop Star is available for purchase exclusively from Gadgets 360.
Alcatel Pop Star features a 5-inch HD (1280×720) HD IPS display with 160-degree wide viewing angle. It runs on a 1 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6735 64 bit processor with the help of 1GB RAM. For graphics it has a Mali-T720 GPU.
The phone has 8 GB of built-in storage and a Memory card slot using which you can increase its memory by another 32 GB via a micro SD card.
The Alcatel Pop Star has an 8-megapixel rear camera with a LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with two SIM slots and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It comes packed with a 2,000 mAh battery.
On the connectivity front, the Alcatel Pop Star offers 2G/3G/4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Micro USB port, and Bluetooth and other standard connectivity features. The phone measures 142.5 x 71.5 x 8.6mm, and weighs 145 grams.
The Alcatel Pop Star comes in Metal Gold and Metal Silver colours.
