Airtel counters Reliance Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, gives away 70GB data for Rs 399

Further, the telecom operator has also upgraded the previous Rs 345 pack which now offers 2GB per day for 28 days unlike 1GB per day previously. This plan also offers free unlimited Local + STD calls.

After Jio introduced its Dhan Dhana Dhan offer this week, Airtel has now come up with its counter plan for its prepaid customers that offers 1GB data per day for 70 days coupled with free unlimited Local + STD calls for just Rs 399. Further, the telecom operator has also upgraded the previous Rs 345 pack which now offers 2GB per day for 28 days unlike 1GB per day previously. This plan also offers free unlimited Local + STD calls.

We found the new offer on myAirtel under ‘Best offers for you’ section and based on our assumption this should be valid for all Airtel prepaid customers.

Reliance Jio, earlier this week introduced its Dhan Dhana Dhan offer after TRAI directed it to take down its Summer Surprise offer. Under the new offer, Jio users who have already subscribed Jio Prime membership can now get 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days (28 days x 3) by just paying Rs 309. Further, one can pay Rs 509 and get 2GB 4G data per day with a validity of 84 days. Apart from this, you still get unlimited free voice calls and and free access to Jio Apps.

On the other hand, if you are not a prime member or you have just bought your Jio SIM, you need to pay Rs 408 for 1GB 4G data every day for 84 days and Rs 608 for Rs 509 plan. While this new Dhan Dhana Dhan offer from Reliance Jio yet again looks lucrative, it is essentially the same plan as Summer Surprise offer.

To brief you out about the withdrawn Summer Surprise offer, Reliance Jio was offering free services for three months for Jio Prime members by recharging for Rs 303 or more. Comparing it with the new Dhan Dhana Dhan plan, you get the same benefits but now with an extended validity of 84 days (28*3).

Reliance Jio and Airtel has been on the battlefield for quite some time now. Starting from violations relating to extending free services beyond 90 days to recent brawl when Airtel was named Fastest Mobile Network in India, everything has gone down to wire.
