Lenovo Ideapad A2107 comes with a 7 inch high definition HD display with 1024x600 resolution which also offers 320 nits brightness for easy readability. It comes with 1 GHz processor (Mediatek MTK 6575), 1 GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt memory but it is expected that the 8 GB version of the tablet will also be made available shortly.
The tablet is based on Android 4.0 operating system and comes with 2.0 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. The tablet is also lightweight and weighs 400 grams.
For connectivity, the Ideapad A2107 comes with 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Since it comes with dual SIM as well, calling facility is also available. Lenovo also claims that the tablet will be sturdy as it comes with internal roll-cage to make it withstand falls. The tablet, however, lacks an HDMI port which has become common nowadays.
While battery specs has not been shared, it claims to offer 8 hours of usage on 3G, which if delivered is a great thing.
The closest rival to this tablet in terms of specs is the single SIM based Huawei MediaPad Lite. It comes with a slightly bigger 3.2 megapixel camera and a 1.2 GHz processor. However, MediaPad Lite comes with 8 GB internal memory along with expandable memory slot but is priced similarly as the Lenovo Ideapad A2107.
