Earlier, it was expected that the Taiwanese company will launch the 1.5 Ghz version of the smartphone in India.
HTC One S, which will be launched in India on this Friday, will have a 1.7 Ghz dual core processor as opposed to the 1.5 Ghz as reported earlier. All other specification will be the same.
The HTC One S will come with a 4.3 inch 720 pixel based Amoled display with 540x960 resolution. It will weigh just 119.5 grams.
As reported earlier by The Mobile Indian, the One S will have Android 4.0 operating system with HTC Sense 4 user interface. It will comes with 16 GB internal memory storage with 1 GB RAM.
Like One X, it comes with 3.5 mm jack, Bluetooth, WiFi, DLNA, and a USB port for connectivity. There is an 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED Flash in One S. The rear camera is capable of capturing 1080 pixel based true HD videos. There is a front VGA camera too for video chats.
The company is expected to unveil the smartphone during MWC 2016.
As per reports, HTC may not unveil the handset during MWC 2016.
T50 reportedly would have a 5 inch display while T55 is said to come with a 5.5-inch display
After two years gap, HTC is now reportedly back to Google's camp to make its Nexus devices.
HTC One A9 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 4 megapixel front snapper.
The HTC Vive Pre will hit the markets in April 2016.
The smartphone will be available in Silver and Gunmetal Gray colour variants.
The smartphone is expected to cost somewhere between $366 - $457 in Taiwan.
HTC Desire 828 was announced for the Indian market last month along with HTC One A9.
HTC One M9s has decent specs for a mid range device priced approximately at Rs 26,000.
