Though considered a lighter cousin of One X, the HTC One S has some enviable features.
HTC One S is an Android 4.0 device with a 4 inch Super Amoled capacitive touchscreen. It flaunts an 8 megapixel camera, making it perfect to shoot good quality snaps with. The device also has a front-viewing VGA camera to address video calling. One S is powered by a dual core 1.5 GHz processor and has 16 GB internal memory.
One X is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor. It has a 1.5 GHz Super 4-plus-1 quad core processor with integrated fifth battery saver core and a high performance 12 core Nvidia GPU. The phone has a 4.7 inch, 720p HD screen crafted from contoured Corning Gorilla Glass.
HTC One V on the other hand brings top-end design to smartphones, with broad appeal and a premium experience that delivers an amazing camera and authentic sound. It features a simple, iconic aluminium unibody design.
HTC One smartphones come with a new design, amazing camera, authentic sound and Media Link HD display.
With Media Link, one can enjoy any form of high definition multimedia on TV effortlessly. A three finger swipe on the mobile screen displays whatever is playing on your phone wirelessly to the TV screen. You can meanwhile still surf the internet and check your emails on your phone.
While talking about Windows platform, Lennard said, "HTC is committed to Windows platform and in the coming months, the company will launch handsets based on Windows operating system."
HTC is working with developers for apps that would optimally use quad core technology, Lennard said.
Currently, very few mobile apps are optimised to take advantage of four processing cores in mobile phones. As a matter of fact, many Android apps aren't even optimised for the large screen of a tablet.
