Huawei has recently launched Mate 9, Porsche Edition and Mate 9 Pro flagship smartphones under Mate series. Now Huawei has silently launched another Mate series phone which is named as Huawei Mate 9 Lite. The pricing and availability of Huawei Mate 9 Lite, however, has not been announced yet. The colour options available for the Huawei Mate 9 Lite are gold, gray, and silver.
The Huawei Mate 9 Lite has a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by ann Octa-Core Kirin 655 ( 4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz) 16nm processor with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. It comes in two variants - 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage. The Huawei Mate 9 Lite features a fingerprint scanner and it boasts a unibody metal design.
The smartphone has dual camera setup of the 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel secondary rear camera. An 8-megapixel front camera is there for selfies. This 4G LTE smartphone with VoLTE runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system EMUI 4.1 on top of it. Besides, the Huawei Mate 9 Lite has a 3340 mAh battery. Furthermore, the smartphone also offers Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 ac and GPS. The device's dimensions are 150 x 76.2 x 8.2 mm and it weighs 162 grams.
The smartphone will be made available at the end of January.
Although, the company didn't reveal any name, the device is likely to be the recently rumoured Huawei P10
