The headsets are priced at around Rs 1,500.
After launching the much awaited Redmi 4, Redmi Prime and Redmi 4A, Xiaomi has now launched a new pair of Bluetooth headsets meant for sports enthusiasts. The new Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset will sell at just CNY 149 (approx. Rs 1,500) starting November 11 in China.
Starting with the design, the Bluetooth headsets weighs in at just 17.8 grams making it extremely light. Xiaomi has also provided IPx4 rating making it splash and sweat proof for those sweaty workout sessions. Further, it comes with a total of five silicon ear-cups varying in size for different situations. There is a motion ear cup which comes with a semi-enclosed design for enhanced noise cancellation. For music enthusiasts, there is a closed music ear-cup to grasp those sensitive yet important music details. The headset comes with a loop which wraps around one's ears which help keep it intact even during fast running sessions.
Also, the company claims that these headsets are made out of skin-friendly material with nano coating technology which can take up a good amount of sweat without harming the device. Xiaomi further claims that the headset has been tested to work in extreme environments with temperatures ranging from -20 degree Celsius to 70 degree Celsius.
For the battery, there is an 110 mAh cell, which Xiaomi claims can help last these Bluetooth headsets up to 7 hours of music and can offer a standby time of around 11 days. On the top of this, these headsets also support fast charging providing 1 hour of music playback in just 10 minutes of charge.
Unfortunately, these pair of headsets are only said to be China-only product and won't be launched anywhere else as of now.
