Post Samsung Not 7 debacle, South Korean manufacturer incurred a loss of about $17 billion in market share.
After the Samsung Note 7 fiasco South Korean tech giant wants to move forward and avoid mistakes done in the past.
To star the introspection process, according to a news report of Reuters, Samsung Electronics Co Ltd Chief Executive Kwon Oh-Hyun on Tuesday said in a statement, "Samsung employees should look back and ask whether they had been complacent in their work.”
He further added, "We have a long history of overcoming crises,let us use this crisis as a chance to make another leap by re-examining and thoroughly improving how we work, how we think about innovation and our perspective of our customers."
Samsung had launched the Note 7 on August 2 this year and had to recall the device twice post the launch before it eventually discontinued the device. As a result, South Korean manufacturer incurred a loss of about $17 billion in market share.
The Galaxy J7 Prime smartphone was launched in September this year.
The South Korean giant unveiled the new Gear S3 lineup back in September at IFA 2016.
The smartphone is exclusively available from Flipkart.
It is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
Galaxy C7 is expected to have 16- megapixel front and rear camera.
Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro may come with a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display.
The official launch is nowhere close yet there are rumours every week about the device.
Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has a 6-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display.
Previously, Samsung sold off its Printer business to HP Inc. for $1.05 billion.
