The recently launched Honor 8 reached 5 million registrations within first four days so Honor 6X has been yet another successful launch up till now.
After a bunch of rumours, Huawei yesterday launched its new smartphone Honor 6X. Huawei has claimed to have received more than 1 million registrations in just one day's time. Though we know that these registration doesn't necessary mean that 1 million users will buy the device still this is one of the best response received by a Huawei smartphone. The recently launched Honor 8 reached 5 million registrations within first four days so Honor 6X has been yet another successful launch up till now.
However, as the smartphone has only been launched in China so these registrations are mainly from that region. Registrations for the Honor 6X will continue till 24th October and the device will be released on the next day i.e. 25th October.
Regarding the specifications, Honor 6X comes with a metal unibody design which surrounds a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 655 (4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz) processor and has Mali T830-MP2 GPU for graphics. It comes with either 32GB internal storage with 3GB/4GB RAM or 64GB internal storage with 4GB RAM. The storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has the Huawei Emotion UI 4.1 (EMUI) user interface. Regarding the battery, Honor 6X houses a 3340 mAh battery.
The Honor 6X boasts a dual rear camera setup which include a 12-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, PDAF and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor. On the other side at the front we get an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video chat. Besides, an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner are also on its back panel just below the camera setup. For connectivity, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The handset measures 150.9 x 72.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs around 162 grams.
Huawei has recently paced up its game by launching some of the most promising devices the company has ever launched. Honor 6X seems to be no exception. As for the price, the 32GB with 3GB RAM model is priced at CNY 999 (approx. Rs 9,900) , the 32GB with 4GB RAM model is priced at CNY 1,299 (approx. Rs 12,900) and the model with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM is priced at CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 15,900).
The Huawei Honor 6S is expected to unveiled in January 2017.
Further, adding up to the information, Huawei has confirmed that Mate 8 and P9 are expected to get the Nougat update first.
The new battery is expected to have a twice the lifespans of existing batteries.
The Huawei Mate 9 Lite features a fingerprint scanner and it boasts a unibody metal design.
Huawei P10 smartphone will succeed Huawei P9 launched in India in August this year.
Apart from Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche Edition, the company also launched the earlier rumoured Mate 9 Pro with curved display.
The P10 will succeed Huawei P9 smartphone launched in India in August this year.
Huawei Mate 9 has been unveiled today at an event.
Fit does not include a GPS under its hood, but it can sync with Huawei's Wear application, which is available on both the Android and iOS platforms to track the location.
The rumoured Mate 9 Pro variant has been launched with the name Mate 9 Porsche design.
