Google Pixel delivered a week ahead of official launch

Australian Carrier partner Telstra accidentally shipped and delivered the new Google Pixel to a man in Australia.

Google revealed its new Pixel and Pixel XL last week on October 4. The device is set to up for sale on October 20 with pre-orders already up across various nations. However, An Australian man who pre-ordered the new Google Pixel got delivered the smartphone today almost a week ahead of the official release.

Thanks to Australian Carrier partner Telstra, who accidentally shipped Google's latest flagship to some selected customers. The man with the Reddit handle 'Wooparse' has taken the social network by a storm and has been answering questions from everybody. Further, he even unboxed the device and posted pictures on the social network. Not only this, he even posted his first impression informing the fellow Redditors that the internal storage on his device is 32GB and shockingly about 29.7GB is available which is massive as usually in a 32 GB device, only 25GB remains for users.

He also told that he was invited to install Google Allo and Duo on the first boot. Further, he also posted some picture samples of his dog and the sample image looks pretty decent. And of course, Wooparse is not complaining at all. Further he even informed that the website or package tracker showed the delivery date to be October 20.

Interestingly, a Telstra Representative commented on the thread saying "Knew this would happen. Somehow, in some way, whoever looks after pre-orders always manages to ship out devices a week early."

In India, Google Pixel and Pixel XL are up for pre-orders on Flipkart and will ship on October 20 most likely. We hope Flipkart manage to commit a similar mistake or we will have to wait another 6 days to get our hands on this new device from Google.
