Huawei is expected to launch the much speculated Huawei Mate 9 at an event on November 3 for which the company has already sent invites to various media organisations. The press conference is scheduled to be held in Munich, Germany at 2pm on November 3. While the earlier leaks have revealed that the device will come with 20-megapixel dual rear camera, a new report has claimed that the device will have a 12 megapixel secondary rear camera along with 20 MP camera.
As per the information leaked on Weibo, the phone might come with 20MP and 12MP rear cameras which will be manufactured by Leica. Furthermore, the device will be coming with an 8 megapixel front facing camera and will use a Super Charge Technology that can charge the device up to 50% in just 5 minutes.
Huawei Mate 9 is expected to come in three variants. Reportedly, the first variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage will be priced at $510, another model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage to be priced at $585, while the premium model will come with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory at $705. Huawei Mate 9 is expected to come in Mystic Silver, Titanium Grey, Ceramic White, Champagne Gold, Mocha Gold, Amber Grey and Glazing Black colors.
Huawei's Mate 9 could be the first device to be powered by HiSilicon's Kirin 960 SoC. The Kirin 960 chipset is said to consist of four Cortex-A73 cores and four low-power Cortex-A53 cores and it will be clocked at 2.6 GHz. The chip is also expected to be manufactured using the 16nm process and there is ARM Mali T880 GPU for graphics.
As per earlier rumors, the Huawei Mate 9 has a 5.9-inch that has full HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution, Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Further, the phone is expected to come with 20-megapixel dual rear camera and dual tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. It will have connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and WiFi. The Mate 9 is expected to come with 4000 mAh battery.
The Huawei Honor 6S is expected to unveiled in January 2017.
Further, adding up to the information, Huawei has confirmed that Mate 8 and P9 are expected to get the Nougat update first.
The new battery is expected to have a twice the lifespans of existing batteries.
The Huawei Mate 9 Lite features a fingerprint scanner and it boasts a unibody metal design.
Huawei P10 smartphone will succeed Huawei P9 launched in India in August this year.
Apart from Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche Edition, the company also launched the earlier rumoured Mate 9 Pro with curved display.
The P10 will succeed Huawei P9 smartphone launched in India in August this year.
Huawei Mate 9 has been unveiled today at an event.
Fit does not include a GPS under its hood, but it can sync with Huawei's Wear application, which is available on both the Android and iOS platforms to track the location.
The rumoured Mate 9 Pro variant has been launched with the name Mate 9 Porsche design.
