Xiaomi has recently launched the Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus in China. While now Xiaomi is planning to launch Mi Note 2 in mid November, a new Xiaomi device has been spotted on the Chinese micro-blogging site, Weibo in leaked images. As per reports, it will be launched as Xiaomi Mi 6.
The alleged Xiaomi Mi 6 on the Weibo shows a rear camera with dual tone LED flash on the top left corner, a front camera and a physical home button on the front which can double as a fingerprint sensor. It also has "MI” logo on the back. Sadly no details about the specifications of the Xiaomi device were reveled via leaked images. It is expected that the upcoming device is in early stages of development.
Xiaomi had launched Mi5 April this year for Rs 24,999 for 3GB RAM model that has 32GB inbuilt storage. The Xiaomi Mi 5 features a 5.15 inch display that has full HD resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor, along with Adreno 530 graphics processor, dual SIM, a fingerprint scanner and Android Marshmallow operating system. The phone has a 16 megapixel rear camera that has Sony IMX298 sensor, 6P lens, phase detection auto focus feature, LED flash light support, optical image stabilization and sapphire glass protection for lens. The rear camera can record 4K videos. For selfies, the Mi 5 offers a 4 megapixel front camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 is fuelled by a 3000 mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It has a USB Type C port too. Other than that, the Mi 5 offers WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. The handset measures 144.5x69.2x7.25mm and weighs 129 grams.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 also has UFS 2.0 storage which is said to offer 87 per cent faster read write speed than eMMC 5.0 storage which is found in other smartphones. The Mi 5 comes with 4G+ (CAT 12 LTE modem) technology that can offer up to 600 Mbps speed. It also supports VoLTE.
In another round of leaks a new price of $590 (approx. Rs 39,500) is going around, just ahead of its launch.
The 4GB variant will come at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 27,800) while the 6GB variant will come at CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs 29,800).
Last month Xiaomi claimed that it has sold about 2.3 million units of Redmi Note 3 in just six months.
Latest rumours have revealed that the Mi Note 2 will be priced at CNY 5,699 which is about Rs 57,000.
Recently some images of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 surfaced online as per which it has a curved display.
Apart from the new launches, Xiaomi is offering Redmi 3S Prime, Redmi Note 3 16GB/32GB and Redmi 3S at Rs 8,499, Rs 9,499/Rs 10,999 and Rs 6,499 respectively.
Mi Diwali sale will witness exciting discounts on various products including Re 1 flash sales.
The smartphone is said to be powered by Helio P20 SoC and 3GB of RAM.
Xiaomi has promised to offer exciting deals on Mi products during the sale including the Rs 1 flash sale.
