According to the website, the two Pixel devices will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor.
Google is all set to launch its new Pixel devices tomorrow but ahead of the actual launch, a UK retail store named Carphone Warehouse listed the phone on its website with full specifications. Earlier, the Pixel devices have gone through every bit of rumours and leaks which could possible have come out before a device is launched.
Just Last Week, Onleaks revealed a 360 degree render of the Pixel XL after previously revealing the 360 degree render of Pixel. Even famous tipster Evan Blass (@eveleaks) have come up with his render images of both the devices.
The Carphone Warehouse, however, revealed the phone with the tagline "Introducing Pixel. Phone from Google". The interface on the device image shows the Pixel Launcher and rounded icons which is a bit of surprising. The images on the website also reveals the button placement with both volume rocker and power button on the right with the former being placed below the latter. The headphone jack is thankfully there and is placed on top while the USB Type-C is at the bottom. Moving to the back, we see the camera and fingerprint reader which is of course covered with that famous glass plate. And there is the Google Logo instead of Nexus this time. Well, these images seems to be legit rather than a publicity stunt but we will have to wait for tomorrow in order to see exactly how will the two new Pixel devices look like.
Moreover, the website also revealed some specifications which are interesting as well. The smaller of the two i.e. Pixel will come in at 5 inch 1080p AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. That's interesting as latest rumour suggested that the Pixel devices will come with Snapdragon 820 revised version. The camera on both the devices will be a 12 megapixel rear facing shooter and 8 megapixel front facing camera. Pixel XL on the other hand will feature a larger 5.5 inch Quad-HD display. Both the devices will run on Android 7.1 Nougat. The batteries are also expected to differ with Pixel sporting a 2770 mAh battery and Pixel XL sporting 3450 mAh battery.
These specifications if true will be top notch given that not a lot of devices run on Snapdragon 821 processor so far. Also, Pricing will also play a crucial role as the competition has been increasing every year. Meanwhile, a Canadian carrier Bell also revealed some of the fresh renders.
Last week, the highly rumoured HTC Bolt or HTC 10 Evo was reportedly certified by FCC with the model number 2PYB200.
With this move, HTC is clearly indicating its intention to be more than just a VR headset manufacturer.
HTC is rumoured to skip the 3.5 mm headphone jack as per the latest image renders.
The HTC 10 was launched in April 2016 at Rs 52,990.
HTC 10 has been spotted on GFXBench benchmarking website with the Android Nougat.
As per new leak HTC Bolt is code-named as "HTC Acadia".
Apart from Pixel devices (Pixel and Pixel XL), Google also unveiled a new Chromecast, a new VR headset, Google WiFi and Google Home.
Out of all the launches that are expected to take place, Pixel and Pixel XL are probably the most rumoured devices.
Both the devices will be launched this Tuesday.
Both the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
