TCL 950 was also spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA.
TCL had launched the TCL 560 and TCL 562 smartphone at Rs 7,999 and Rs 10,990 respectively in India in July this year. Now as per reports, the company is gearing up to launch a smartphone called TCL 950 in China on September 28. TCL has reportedly also sent the invitations for the September 28 event in China.
The invite however does not say anything about either the name or the specs of the device, but as per reports, it is expected to launch the TCL 950. TCL 950 was also spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA sometime back.
As per the TENAA listing, the TCL 950 has a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display, a 2.15 GHz Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage, 128GB expandable storage via a micro SD card and a 3,000 mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has gravity, proximity and light sensors. Besides, as per the listing, the phone is 153.9 mm tall and 6.9 mm thin and it weighs 165 grams. As per TENAA, the TCL 950 supports 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands.
The TCL 950 was also spotted on the GFX Benchmarking website a few months ago as per which it has a 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera as well as an NFC chip. However, the TENAA listing has nothing about TCL 950's cameras.
In a partnership with Amazon, TCL is offering the TV at Rs 79,990.
The TCL 550 comes equipped with 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor.
Both the smartphones come in Gold and Silver color options.
The smartphone houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on its rear panel.
The phone has two 13 megapixel rear cameras while in the front there is a 8+5 megapixel camera set up.
The TCL 562 comes in Metal Gold and Dark Grey colors.
The TCL 950 was also spotted on the GFX Bencmarking website a few months ago.
The new smartphone will be launched in partnership with Alcatel.
