Sonya India, today launched a new memory card under the name High Speed UX series. Sony claims that these SD Card is the first highest capacity card and is also capable of fast data transfer speed and 4K compatibility if you want to use it in a camera.

This is mainly because it is equipped with improved speed and transfer time giving way to minimal workflow speed and high efficiency. The SD card comes with the storage capacity of 256GB and the transfer speeds range up to 94MB per second reading and 70MB writing speed.
Additionally, it also comes with Ultra-High Speed (Class 3) rating which further enhances the speed and quality of images captured. As mentioned previously, recording 4K videos is a bliss with minimal buffering while capturing burst shots or panoramic images.
Just like some of the existing versions, you also get Sony's File Rescue software which also supports 3D movies and photos. Users can recover accidentally deleted content through this software. Plus, this software also supports XAVC 5 codec mode recording. Sony also claims that the SD card has molded resin which makes it more durable, reliable, shockproof and tough for extreme temperatures.
As of now, this SD card is available at different Sony and major electronic stores at a price of Rs 11,500.
