Aircel has introduced two new rate cutters that effectively reduce local calling rates by 90 per cent to offer local calling at 10 paisa per minute.
Aircel has launched two rate cutters; first one priced at Rs 27 which offers all local calls at 10 paisa per minute for first 100 minutes and post that at 40 paisa per minute with a validity for 21 days. The second rate cutter is priced at Rs 11 which allows customers to make all local Aircel to Aircel (AtoA) calls at 10 paisa per minute with a validity of 15 days.
Anil Gupta, regional manager - North, Aircel, said, “We are happy to introduce these best value for money products which will provide our customers with the benefit to make all local calls at 10 paisa per minute. The products will enable our customers to talk to their family and friends at low call rates. The products are especially aimed at the student community who like to be connected to their friends 24X7 and the rate cutters will provide them the ease and convenience to do so.”
Aircel has 4G band in Andhra pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, the North East and J&K.
The offer is available in all circles of Aircel but at different price points.
It also provides 25 local and national minutes per month for six months and 25 MB data valid for 30 days.
Reliance, which also has 4G spectrum in Andhra Pradesh, is expected to roll out the services by this year end.
The smartphones will be based on Android operating system and will come in different price brackets.
Aircel has announced new ebook store that encompasses vast catalogue of digital readable files for the users to download on smartphones, tablets and PC.
Aircel customers will be able to access versions of Wikipedia in English, Hindi, Tamil, and 17 other Indic languages.
Aircel is offering free unlimited Aircel to Aircel calls between 6:00AM to 9:00AM for 30 days.
